VENDORS WHO MAY BID FOR ANY LOTS AND MAY WITHDRAW ANY LOTS EITHER PERSONALLY OR
THROUGH THE AUCTIONEER.
4. NO PERSON MAY BID UNLESS THEY HOLD AN MCD NUMBERED BIDDING CARD ISSUED IN THEIR NAME.
5. UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFICALLY STATED, ALL LOTS ARE SOLD WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES
WHATSOEVER, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ANY DESCRIPTION CONTAINED IN THE CATALOGUE
OR ANY WARRANTY WHICH MAY BE GIVEN IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SELLER AND MCD
SHALL INCUR NO LIABILITY TO ANY PERSON IN RESPECT THEREOF. ALTHOUGH NO FORM OF
WARRANTY IS GIVEN WITH ANY LOT, THE AUCTIONEERS WILL USE THEIR BEST ENDEAVOURS TO
PROVIDE THE HISTORY OF ANY ITEM. TEST FACILITIES WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE DURING THE
HOURS OF VIEWING AND WHERE ENGINEERS REPORTS ARE AVAILABLE, THESE WILL BE DISPLAYED.
6. THE AUCTION ROOMS WILL REMAIN OPEN FOR CLEARANCE OF SOLD LOTS UNTIL 9.00 PM ON THE
SALE DAY AND 5.00PM ON THE FOLLOWING DAY. PURCHASED GOODS NOT COLLECTED BY THIS
TIME WILL INCUR TRANSPORT AND STORAGE CHARGES.
7. PURCHASED LOTS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER FROM THE MOMENT THE HAMMER
FALLS. THE AUCTIONEERS SHALL BE UNDER NO LIABILITY FOR SUBSEQUENT LOSS OR DAMAGE,
HOWSOEVER CAUSED.
8. ALL LOTS ARE SUBJECT TO A 10% BUYERS COMMISSION & VAT.
9. FULL PAYMENT BECOMES DUE UPON THE FALL OF THE HAMMER AND WHERE PURCHASERS
ACCOUNTS ARE NOT MET IN FULL BY THE CLOSE OF BUSINESS ON SALE DAY, A SUBSTANTIAL CASH
DEPOSIT MUST BE LODGED WITH THE AUCTIONEERS IN ORDER TO SECURE THE GOODS PURCHASED
BY ANY ONE BIDDER. THE AUCTIONEERS, AT ANY TIME DURING THE COURSE OF THE SALE, MAY
REQUEST A DEPOSIT FROM ANY SUCCESSFUL BIDDER.
10. THE METHOD OF PAYMENT FOR GOODS PURCHASED SHALL BE AT THE ABSOLUTE DISCRETION OF
THE AUCTIONEERS. BIDDERS INTENDING TO SETTLE THEIR ACCOUNTS BY CHEQUE, SHOULD
CONTACT THE AUCTIONEERS BEFORE THE AUCTION DAY.
11. THE AUCTIONEERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE PAYMENT BY CHEQUE OR TO DELAY REMOVAL
OF PURCHASES PENDING CLEARED PAYMENT.
12. CUSTOMERS WISHING TO PURCHASE LOTS USING FINANCE SHOULD MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE
FINANCE COMPANY BEFORE THEY BID ON ANY LOTS.
